EARTHQUAKES

Mathew 24:7-9: 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

One of the prophecies from the "The Olivet Discourse" is an increase in the number and intensity of earthquakes (birth pangs). You can read that in your daily news quite frequently and the anticipation is that in the near future earthquakes and other natural disasters wil be an all-absorbing topic in the news, exactly as predicted in the New Testament. Note that Scriptures state that this will only be the 'beginning of the birth pangs'. Another plain indication that the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is at hand.
